Plans are in the works to hire about six employees for the capital city location, owner Mike Panza said. The Tallahassee location will include a cold package room and on-site cooking. Customers choose from one of three meal plans: $9.95 per meal for the three month plan, $10.95 per meal per month or $11.95 per meal for the weekly plan. Customers can also pick up orders at the Tallahassee site, but it's not a retail location. FarmToFreshMeals.com.The company provides paleo (based on the Paleolithic diet), vegetarian or fit meal plans with lean protein, healthy carbs and fresh vegetables. Customers can get two to three meals per day that cover breakfast, lunch and dinner.' Everything we do is basically convenience for the customer,' Panza said, adding plans can be amended and paused at will.
“We offer them a really simple way of eating healthy. It's a super simple process.'
The former Southern Velvet Cafe location was attractive because it already had the basic building blocks for a culinary-based business, which was more appealing compared to starting from scratch.' It just seemed like the right fit for us,' Panza said. 'We have everything that we need.' Contact Reporter TaMaryn Waters at [email protected] or follow @TaMarynWaters on Twitter.
